Job Description and Eligibility Criteria of Tata Steel Off-campus Drive 2023:

• Must have successfully completed your B.E., B.Tech, or B.Sc. (Engg.) degree in one of the following disciplines, or be in your last year of study.

• Ceramic for Civil & Structural Use
• Chemical Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, and Power Electronics
• Engineering the Environment
• Mechanical Metallurgy
• Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, and Mineral Mining Beneficiation Engineering
• Mechatronics
• Geoinformatics (OR)

Must have finished your M.Tech. or M.Sc. in one of the following fields, or be in your last year:

• Geology
• Remote sensing, geophysics, and GIS

Other principles:

• Candidates who have finished a three-year diploma and have entered the second year of engineering straight are also eligible, as are those who are in their last year of a BE, a B Tech, or a B Sc (Engg).
• must have been a full-time student Campus Programme approved by AICTE and UGC
• In relation to all candidates: Must have received a minimum grade in BE, B Tech, B Sc (Engg), M.Tech, or M.Sc. of 6.5 (CGPA) or 65% (percentage), depending on the scoring method. SC/ST, PwD, and Transgender Examination Candidates: Must have received a minimum grade of 6.0 (where the CGPA is used) or 60% (where the percentage is used) in BE, B Tech, B Sc (Engg), M.Tech, or M.Sc. Candidates with a domicile will be given preference in the examination.

Age Limit(As on 1 June 2023):

• For General Candidates: Should not be more than 30 years
• For Transgender, PwD, SC/ST Candidates: Should not be more than 32 years

Emoluments:

• During their year of training, Engineer Trainees will get an all-inclusive stipend of 30,000 per month.
• Engineer Trainees will only be insured under the Medi-Claim program for themselves, which covers OPD coverage of $6,000 per year and hospitalization coverage of $2,50,000 per year.
• For individuals hired as Assistant Managers on Fixed Term Employment after successfully completing training, a CTC of INR 7 lacs per year along with various perks and incentives in accordance with corporate policy would be provided.

Selection Process:

• Eligible candidates will undergo an online Cognitive and Technical Test
• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews either in person or on a virtual medium
