• Provide technical support to AVEVA customers and partners for issues raised via phone, email & web support channels
• Troubleshoot, analyze and diagnose product issues
• Provide regular updates to customers and partners on support requests and queries, ensuring service request updates and resolution timeframes are in line with service level agreements
• Keep accurate records of support activities in the AVEVA case management systems including documenting all solutions, bug fixes, and workarounds
• Work with senior members of the support team and product development teams when product issues are identified
• Develop knowledge articles (i.e., tech notes, tech alerts) for the AVEVA Plant SCADA product

Aveva Careers 2023 – Educational qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Industrial Automation, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplin

Aveva Recruitment 2023 – Experience

• 6 months – 3 years experience designing, developing, implementing and/ or supporting industrial automation software solutions based on AVEVA Plant SCADA and/ or similar products, or working in a similar or related technical role
• Experience with complex software configurations, networking, TCP/ IP communications, database connectivity, SQL, Windows Client/Server architectures
• Experience with industrial communications networks and protocols (e.g., OPC UA/ DA/ AE/ HDA, Modbus, DNP3, etc.,.)
